The establishment of SACS was a result of emerging growth in the Indian aviation sector and for providing a platform to seize opportunities likely to arise with the privatization of airports, development of regional and low cost airports.
SACS endeavours to meet the ever-growing demand in the Aviation sector because of the momentum gained by privatization of airports and development of Green field airports, Regional airport development and Modernization of Brown airports. The Government of India has put more emphasis on developing Tier-II and Tier-III airports as sustainable low cost airports to increase regional connectivity.
Sharp increase in air traffic is expected in the wake of several initiatives and major policy changes being undertaken by the government. Initiatives like liberalization of air travel services through the open skies agreement is helping the Indian Civil Aviation industry grow day by day. With a total of 449 airports, out of which 92 airports and 28 civil enclaves, 12 international airports but only 61 of them permitted to be utilized by the airlines, there is a huge concern whether India will be able to handle this increased air traffic. Hence there is a huge responsibility to upgrade existing infrastructure and develop more airports in Tier-II and Tier-III cities. But due to the lack of government resources, there is an increased emphasis on private investment in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.
SACS is one of the emerging organizations to meet the requirements of skilled and experienced pool of human resource for all the aspects of the airports / regulator both for long-term and short-term requirements, at short notice. SACS undertakes Project Consultancy / Turnkey implementation of Projects and with the wealth of experience at its command, also undertakes / guides in procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of airport equipment meeting the ICAO SARPs requirement.
In addition to above, we also provide consultancy services to promote small vendors in the field of CNS/ATM. SACS also provides ground / operational management, security consultancy for small airports to make viable proposition and prepare Standard Operating Practices (SOP) for airport specific.
SACS is approved by DGCA as an agency for providing “Flight clearance of Non-schedule flight” and other related services.
